Job summary

Wedgewood Pharmacy is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to support a national provider of compounded veterinary medications. This role handles high-volume inbound and outbound interactions across phone, email, SMS, chat, and mail, helping veterinarians and pet owners access customized prescriptions for animals.

Responsibilities include delivering attentive service, navigating patient and prescriber profiles, and accurately entering prescriptions across systems.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License, or willingness to obtain one (training provided)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience with data entry, multitasking, and high-volume call handling
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures
• Effective communication, basic math skills, and professional computer experience
• Must live within commutable distance of Swedesboro, NJ for the initial training period

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive customer service across inbound, outbound, and written channels
• Navigate patient and prescriber profiles across multiple systems and accurately enter prescriptions
• Answer 60+ inbound calls per day, spending about 90% of the shift assisting customers
• Adapt quickly to each customer interaction and channel
• Collaborate with team members across pharmacy and fulfillment facilities, working independently when needed
