Job summary

Animal Immunotherapy Services is seeking a Veterinary Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to work collaboratively with the ADG management and AIS teams. The role handles new orders, updates client information, notifies customers about order status, and maintains inventories to ensure safe and timely medication delivery to veterinarians and their clients.

The position requires 1+ year(s) experience in a veterinary setting, comfort with pharmacy calculations, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of experience as a veterinary receptionist and/or technician.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology, weights and measures, and pharmacy calculations.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally with coworkers and clients.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, type at least 30 wpm, lift up to 35 pounds, bend, squat, stoop and reach above and below shoulder level.

Responsibilities

• Triage allergy vaccine requests and fill new orders accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues by phone.
• Use client management software to provide medications, ensure accurate billing, and update client records.
• Order and restock inventory to maximize turnover and prevent stockouts.
• Ensure correct storage conditions for medications and remove expired products.
• Maintain and troubleshoot in-house processes and keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
