BluePearl Veterinary Partners is hiring a motivated, energetic, and passionate Patient Care Training Coordinator to join our team.
The Market Vet Technician Trainer is actively employed as a Veterinary Technician Level III, IV, or VTS and supports training for Technicians and Assistants within multiple hospitals in a market(s). They will be primarily engaged in coordinating on-site and virtual training, documenting results, and providing feedback to leadership.

Pay Range PCTC: $31.70 - $45.85/hour
*This pay band is dependent on local veterinary licensing, experience, and advancement through our competency assessment tool.
As a Patient Care Training Coordinator:
- You maintain proficiency in the appropriate department and level of Veterinary Technician competencies and are scheduled as an active Veterinary Technician.
- You create and/or utilize provided materials to facilitate on-site staff training and continuing education for all Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Technicians within the assigned hospitals within the market(s), spending on-site time divided between the locations.
- You implement new, company-wide training programs as needed.
- You elevate the level of patient care through education in the hospitals within the assigned market(s).
- You foster effective working relationships between technicians/assistants and other hospital staff.
- You document the status of staff training and update applicable management as required through written reports and emails and retain clear documentation on what employees accomplish and follow through on all training programs.
- You partner with the Regional Nursing Partner, Director of Medical Quality, and local medical leadership to implement BluePearl's medical quality guidelines and standards into hospital standard operating procedures (SOP), training curriculum, and hospital culture.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Maintain RVT/LVT/CVT in accordance with state laws.
- High School Diploma required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between hospital locations within the Northfield/Skokie area, as necessary.
- Possession of Vet Technician skill level III or greater required. Previous experience as a BluePearl Veterinary Technician (skill level IV or VTS) is preferred.
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver effective training required. Previous supervisory capacity or background in education preferred.
