Metropolitan Veterinary Associates (MVA) is seeking an experienced Veterinary ICU Technician to join our leading specialty and emergency hospital in Norristown. You will deliver life‑saving care, monitor patients, and collaborate with Criticalists and emergency veterinarians to refine treatment plans.

The role requires 2+ years in a high‑volume ICU/ER setting, strong communication, and independent work. A $5,000 sign‑on bonus and a 25% shift differential support your commitment to exceptional

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a high‑volume emergency or ICU setting.
• Experience with advanced monitoring, ventilator support, and critical patient stabilization.
• Proficiency in anesthesia, venipuncture, and IV catheter placement.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate and provide empathetic client updates.
• Broad knowledge base of small animal medicine.
• Commitment to exceptional client service and clear, empathetic communication.
• Ability to work independently while remaining an invaluable part of the team.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary ICU Technician at MVA, you’ll be part of an experienced and compassionate team dedicated to delivering life‑saving care. In this role, you will:

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full‑time position with the following schedules available:

• Please note that some holidays are required.

Compensation

• Starting at $28/hour, plus a 25% shift differential

Eligible for up to a $5,000 sign‑on bonus!
