Job summary

Metropolitan Veterinary Associates seeks a Veterinary Technician for the ICU to provide hands-on critical care and monitoring in a fast-paced setting. You will work with board-certified Criticalists and ER veterinarians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients with advanced equipment, communicating with pet parents, and helping train staff while supporting process improvements. CVT credentials are preferred and compensation starts at $30/hr.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced emergency or ICU setting.
• CVT license or RVT preferred.
• Excellent communication with pet parents and team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on ICU care: treatments, vitals monitoring, advanced diagnostics.
• Work closely with board-certified Criticalists and ER vets.
• Monitor patients closely using advanced equipment.
• Communicate compassionately with pet parents.
• Help train teammates and improve processes.

Norristown, PA | Full-Time – Multiple Shifts - Starting at $30/hr

Schedules Available:

• Sunday-Tuesday: 6:00am – 6:00pm + 15% shift differential on hours worked on Sunday
• Sunday-Tuesday: 6:00pm – 6:00am + 25% shift differential
• Wednesday-Saturday: 2:00pm – 12:00am+ 15% shift differential
