Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Professional Services Veterinarian to consult with Practice Owner Veterinarians on medical protocols and the use of IDEXX products and testing. You will partner with the Sales team and internal groups, delivering technical training and engaging academic partners.

You will support marketing and field activities with technical materials, ensure compliance, and travel extensively to client sites. A DVM degree with relevant experience is required; advanced credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• DVM degree or equivalent required.
• Typically 5–8 years of experience in the veterinary industry and/or practice.
• Licensed to practice in at least one state is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Practice Owner Veterinarians on medical protocols to promote growth and utilization of IDEXX products and testing.
• Represent IDEXX to customers and academia, including hosting seminars and continuing education sessions.
• Collaborate with Sales and other IDEXX areas to provide medical support and training.
• Create, review, and present technical materials and documents.
• Support IDEXX Training Department by creating materials and conducting training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with IDEXX SOPs and handle client questions and product concerns.
• Travel up to 75% (four days in the field, one day work from home) with company vehicle provided.
