Petco’s Vetco Total Care hospitals are seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to lead clinical care in our full-service hospital. You’ll perform exams, diagnostics, surgeries (spays/neuters, exploratory), dentistry, and develop treatment plans while mentoring staff and collaborating with specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.

Competenze

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from AVMA-accredited school.
• Active veterinary license in the state of employment.
• Current DEA license to administer controlled substances.
• Current Controlled Substances license, if applicable.
• USDA Category I accreditation or ability to obtain within two months.

Mansioni

• Provide excellent patient care through exams, diagnostics, and preventive care.
• Perform routine and complex surgical procedures including spays/neuters and mass removals.
• Perform routine and complex dental procedures with radiographs and extractions.
• Develop treatment plans for day hospitalization and coordinate with referral hospitals.
• Participate in rounds, disseminate knowledge, and act as a hospital team leader.
