Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Veterinary Medical Laboratory Technician to perform diagnostic tests and operate lab equipment in support of veterinarians and pet care.

This full-time role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and growth within a leading global diagnostic company. Responsibilities include running tests on blood, urine, fecal, and biopsy samples, setting up assays, and reading results per SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; science-related degree preferred.
• Experience as Veterinary Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician is a plus.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests; operate lab equipment.
• Experience in Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Serology is beneficial.
• Strong detail orientation, teamwork, and reliability.
• Able to meet physical requirements in a lab.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers and microscopes to perform analyses diagnosing animal illnesses.
• Perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal or biopsy samples daily.
• Set up and run lab tests, read and release results per SOPs.
• Specialize in an assigned department per reference labs.
