The ideal candidate leads medical quality, mentors staff, oversees scheduling and workflow, and drives continuous improvement while maintaining compliance and a collaborative team culture.

Salary ranges from USD 137K to USD 207K per year with benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an accredited institution.
• Active Washington veterinary license or eligibility to obtain before start.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Proven clinical skills in small-animal general practice; routine surgery and dentistry preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-mentoring ability.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine, client education, and high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical quality, client experience, and hospital efficiency while practicing high-quality medicine.
• Balance responsibilities with approximately 20-30 percent leadership and 70-80 percent clinical duties.
• Mentor associate veterinarians and paraprofessionals; foster a positive, growth-oriented team culture.
• Guide scheduling, workflow, and delegation to optimize productivity and patient care.
• Provide comprehensive preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery.
• Develop treatment plans, communicate clearly with clients, and ensure thorough medical records.
• Uphold safety and compliance standards; support continuous improvement in protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with practice leadership on goals, budgeting, and operational performance.
