Amerivet is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director in Peterborough, NH. This role combines clinical practice with executive leadership to maintain high standards of care while guiding the hospital’s medical direction and team development.

You will lead by example in delivering top-tier veterinary medicine, mentoring staff, and shaping clinical protocols. The position offers substantial base pay with production bonuses, signing incentive, relocation assistance, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree required.
• Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain one in New Hampshire).
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 3–5 years of small animal clinical experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead the hospital as Medical Director while continuing to practice medicine.
• Establish and uphold medical standards and best practices.
• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians through coaching and case collaboration.
• Partner with Practice Manager on hospital operations, workflow, scheduling and initiatives.
• Recruit and onboard future veterinarians to grow the team and ensure regulatory compliance.
