Job summary

The CSU Veterinary Health System seeks a Central Supply Laundry Custodian to maintain clean, organized hospital laundry for the Veterinary Hospital and Education Complex. You will operate washers and dryers, load and unload loads, sort laundry by type, and ensure linens are folded and stocked appropriately.

This full-time role requires at least six months of related experience, a pre-employment background check, and designation as essential services.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned.

Responsibilities

• Load washers with soiled laundry and start load.
• Unload washer loads of clean laundry and load into dryer.
• Select correct dryer cycle for load and start machine.
• Unload dryer loads and fold clean laundry.
• Sort clean laundry and stack in appropriate locations for laundry type.
• Perform light daily maintenance of washers and dryers including cleaning lint traps and filters.
• Perform required lubrication of washers when needed.
