Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking a Materials Handler for the Veterinary Health System Central Supply. You will receive, sterilize, and stock surgical instruments and supplies used in teaching and research, while supporting departments and staff.

Responsibilities include handling freight, maintaining inventory, and helping with sterilization workflows; candidates should be reliable, able to stand long hours, and willing to learn new computer systems; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year full-time warehousing/receiving/distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, disassemble, clean, and reassemble surgical instruments for sterilization.
• Assist staff and students with retrieving consumables and charging departments.
• Receive incoming freight and disseminate to departments.
• Fill stock lists online and deliver items to departments.
• Stock inventory items and note shortages for purchasing.
• Load/unload sterilizers and place finished items on shelves.
• Sort and fold laundry for sterilization wraps.
