Job summary

IDEXX North Grafton, MA is hiring a Veterinary Medical Laboratory Technician. This full-time, on-site role supports veterinarians with diagnostic testing using automated analyzers, microscopes, and other tools. You will run, read, and release results following SOPs, with potential department specialization.

Benefits begin day one; hourly pay targets $24/hr with third-shift differential of $3/hr. Has a strong growth culture in a global veterinary diagnostics company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required. A 2-, 3- or 4-year science degree preferred.
• Experience with setting up, running, and reading lab tests and operating lab equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and to stand/sit for extended periods in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and other diagnostic tools to perform analyses
• Conduct tests on blood, urine, fecal or tissue samples daily
• Set up, run and read lab tests and read results according to SOPs
• Specialize in an assigned department as available
