Job summary

AVECCC is a 24-hour veterinary emergency hospital in Gilbert, AZ. We are seeking a Veterinary Laboratory Technician to perform non-imaging diagnostic tests using hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and microscopy, and to manage lab samples across departments.

This full-time role requires operating IDEXX lab machines, maintaining records, and delivering excellent client education and teamwork. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour, with benefits including health, 401K match, CE allowance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Perform non-imaging diagnostic tests (hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microscopy).
• Manage lab samples across departments and review results for accuracy.
• Maintain client/patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate IDEXX lab machines and perform routine maintenance.
• Sort, track, and process in-house and outside lab samples.
• Deliver client education regarding laboratory testing and results.
