Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc is seeking Laboratory Technicians for our Dallas, TX lab. Roles span Sample Management and Parasitology, with on-site work, start window in December 2026, and comprehensive day-one benefits.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or science-related degree; prior lab or veterinary/MLT experience is a plus. Expect training, teamwork, and a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A 2-, 3-, or 4-year degree in a Science-related field is preferred.
• If you were a Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT or MT), this experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and accession veterinary samples for laboratory analysis and testing.
• Enter specimen data into a computer tracking system.
• Rack and bundle prepared samples for delivery to each testing department.
• Assist other lab personnel with specimen storage and ensuring that Turnaround Times (TAT's) are met.
• Work with fecal samples for analysis (Parasitology).
• Operate automated analyzers, microscopes, and other laboratory diagnostic tools.
• Follow SOPs to ensure correct and efficient testing processes.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Science-related degree preferred

Veterinary/Medical lab experience a plus
