Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in biological sciences with ≥75% of the degree completed.
• Knowledge of biomedical research laboratory terminology.
• Ability to pipet, calculate volumes and make buffers.
• Good eye–hand coordination and vision to see 1–2 µl in a pipet or tube.

Responsibilities

• Collect fecal samples from research animals.
• Assist in processing and evaluation of parasitology samples.
• Maintain laboratory glassware, ordering, supplies, and general lab upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S and ULAR requirements for lab work and animal handling.
• Assist in record keeping and coordinating with researchers for sample submission.
