Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a Veterinary Kennel Assistant for our Spokane Valley practice. You will focus on janitorial and housekeeping duties, keeping kennels, common areas, and treatment spaces clean, organized, and stocked.

This role suits individuals new to veterinary care who are reliable, friendly, and team-oriented. It is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, Monday through Saturday, and compensation of $17.13–$18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician preferred
• Passion for animal care and patient wellbeing
• Ability to handle dogs and cats safely under supervision
• Dependability and attention to detail; positive, team-oriented attitude
• Physical ability to meet the demands of a hands-on animal care role

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties to sanitize kennels, common areas, and treatment areas
• Ensure supplies are stocked and facilities are clean and safe
• Support team in a fast-paced veterinary environment
• Handle dogs and cats safely under supervision
