Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a Veterinary Kennel Assistant for our Spokane Valley practice. You will focus on janitorial and housekeeping duties, keeping kennels, common areas, and treatment spaces clean, organized, and stocked.

This role suits individuals new to veterinary care who are reliable, friendly, and team-oriented. It is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, Monday through Saturday, and compensation of $17.13–$18.00 per hour.

Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center is seeking a Veterinary Kennel Assistant to join our team! Our Kennel team is dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and staff.

In this role, you will focus on janitorial and housekeeping duties, ensuring kennels, commonspacesand treatment areas are sanitized and well stocked with supplies. This position is ideal for those who are self-driven, detail-oriented, enjoy cleaning and organization, and are committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who may not have prior veterinary experience but are excited about the industry. Candidates must be reliable, friendly, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $17.13- 18.00 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a part- time position, with a flexibleschedule and availability needed Monday - Saturday.

• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician preferred
  • Will consider related experience within animal care such as boarding / doggy daycare attendant, FFA or 4H background
• A genuine passion for animal care and patient wellbeing
• Confidence working with dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
  • Ability to safely handle, restrain, walk, and monitor animals under supervision
  • Strong awareness of animal behavior and willingness to learn patient safety and handling techniques
