Liberty Lake Veterinary Center is seeking a part-time Kennel Assistant to keep pets comfortable, cared for, and safe while the hospital runs smoothly. You’ll work in a four-doctor practice, handle kennel care hands-on, walk dogs, disinfect spaces, and help maintain a calm, clean environment.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and a willingness to get your hands dirty.

Qualifications

• Comfort working with animals and in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Pay close attention to details when caring for animals.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kennel and hospital spaces.
• Walk dogs outdoors.
• Maintain and scoop outdoor yard areas.
• Observe pets and monitor behavior and well-being.
• Medicate animals as directed.
• Safely assist with animal restraint.
• Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
• Dress appropriately for changing weather conditions.
• Provide attentive, compassionate care to every animal.
• Tolerate—and enjoy—puppy kisses and kitty headbutts.
