BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a knowledgeable Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced team in Newark, DE. You will act as a liaison between internists and clients, handling histories, lab results, and care instructions while assisting with anesthesia, imaging, and endoscopic procedures.

You will discharge patients with education, perform medical math, and support ultrasound and radiology efforts. We value teamwork, ongoing learning, and compassionate pet care.

Qualifications

• Strong anesthesia and phlebotomy skills.
• Experience with ultrasound and endoscopy is advantageous.
• Excellent client communication and team collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI) and perform advanced medical math calculations.
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Prepare for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Set up and assist with GI, nasal, and urinary endoscopies; maintain equipment.
• Discharge IM patients with basic client education and demonstrations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
