Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to support the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff in guiding the team to maximize productivity and profitability while delivering outstanding client and patient care.

The Shift Lead performs Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties as needed, ensures quality medical care, and upholds hospital policies and culture. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
• Ability to be confident around pets (dogs, cats, etc.).
• Must be available for weekends and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client and pet experiences while assisting hospital leadership.
• Perform the duties of Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
• Lead day-to-day supervision to ensure quality care, client service, and productivity.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and CE planning to meet client needs.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and grooming standards.
• Foster a positive team environment aligned with Banfield Five Principles.
