Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to support the Practice Manager and COS in running an efficient, productive team. You will ensure high-quality care for pets and exceptional client service, while guiding staff to meet practice priorities.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of veterinary hospital experience, be at least 18 years old, and demonstrate a commitment to Banfield's Five Principles and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of two years veterinary hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise the hospital team to maximize productivity and ensure quality medical care.
• Assist the Practice Manager and COS in day-to-day operations and staff development.
• Perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties when needed.
• Ensure exceptional client service and effective communication with clients and staff.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and plan time off and CE scheduling.
• Adhere to all practice policies, dress, and grooming guidelines.
