The purpose of this position involves providing excellent customer care to our Petco full-service Vetco Total Care hospital clients. The Concierge represents the mission and values to all customers and is typically the first and last person a client encounters when entering our hospital. The Concierge is responsible for fostering cohesion and motivation within the practice.
The incumbent must be able to perform all the following duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Direct supervision from the Hospital Office Manager and Hospital Leader on Duty.
Ensure hospital workflow is optimized, reschedule appointments if needed, and communicate effectively with clients, especially during unforeseen circumstances. The role requires compassion, adaptability, and flexibility, especially when dealing with upset clients, balancing client satisfaction and medical staff focus.
This role contributes to the growth of the practice by ensuring high-quality care and positive first and last impressions of the hospital.
No immediate supervisory duties.
Work conducted in the veterinary hospital, involving bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for long periods. Frequent contact with clients and pets.
Regular communication with clients, veterinary specialists, and suppliers.
