Job Description
The Clinical Course Mentor ( CCM ), Veterinarian works closely with the
LMU - CVM Clinical Relations and Outreach ( CRO ) team. The Clinical Course
Mentor is responsible for overseeing LMU - CVM students electronically,
from a distance in the students’ year four clinical rotation. It is
anticipated that, depending on student experience and case load, the
CCM will spend on average 60-90 minutes per student per week overseeing
clinical performance, learning, and professional development; and will
be responsible, on average, for 12 students per rotation. The
Clinical Course Mentor will have input in shaping the LMU - CVM
curriculum and the future of veterinary medical education.
Required Qualifications
DVM / VMD degree or equivalent; Excellent communication skills; Ability to work in a team environment
