Job summary

PetVet Care Centers seeks a Hospital Manager for Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Huntersville, NC. You will lead the hospital support team, partner with the veterinarian, drive revenue and manage costs while delivering high‑quality patient care and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, health science or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum five years of direct office management experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience may be considered.
• Ability to provide courteous, prompt customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and organization-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff in hospital support departments and achieves labor goals.
• Hires and trains office and technical staff; manages new hire paperwork.
• Orients and trains new clinic staff to hospital operations.
• Performs performance reviews and addresses personnel issues.
• Manages budgets, purchases equipment, and oversees facility maintenance.
• Coordinates schedules and liaises with the veterinary team.
• Ensures billing accuracy, vendor invoices, and licensing compliance.
• Maintains local accounting information and reporting.
