New Braunfels Veterinary Clinic in Texas is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to unite operational excellence with mentorship and a business-minded approach to growth. You will partner with the Medical Director, lead daily operations, manage budgets, staffing, and policies, and drive strategy to expand services and strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary hospital management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, CVPM, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing budgets, staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficient with business software and able to adapt quickly to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and finances, drive growth with data-informed decisions.
• Operational Oversight: ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory, implement policies.
• Strategic Direction: collaborate to develop and execute long-term goals, expand services, support referrals and partnerships.
• Project & Facility Management: lead daily operations, scheduling, and maintenance aligning admin with hospital objectives.
• Client & Community Engagement: oversee marketing, resolve client concerns, enhance client experience, foster retention.
• Team Leadership: manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, maintain staffing levels, promote a positive workplace culture.
