Carevet in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Hospital Manager to lead daily operations, develop the team, and drive exceptional patient care in a busy veterinary hospital. The role requires a business-minded leader who can manage finances, staffing, training, scheduling, and client service while fostering a welcoming, patient-centered culture.

The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow, oversee expenses, and support growth initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or relevant education and work experience.
• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; client-focused and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting including accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, inventory, and banking.
• Oversee inventory management, process flow, and controls.
• Maintain patient medical records with high accuracy.
• Hire and train staff; coordinate scheduling for staff and doctors.
• Provide training for new hires; promote a patient-centered environment.
• Foster community involvement and charity activities.
