Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities and medical equipment across the Columbus area. The role supports Mars Veterinary Health hospitals within the region, with some travel required.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in construction or facilities management and at least three years of construction or maintenance experience; knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Facilities Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of construction or maintenance experience required.
• Working knowledge of construction terms, blueprints, and basic electrical/plumbing.
• Experience with building construction tools and materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility repairs and preventive maintenance across the region.
• Schedule work orders and coordinate with hospitals and managers.
• Source and supervise painting contractors and tile care program.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance materials and travel as needed.
