Job summary

COVE Animal Health is seeking a Group President for Massachusetts & Rhode Island to lead medicine, operations, and culture across our Mass-RI network of emergency and primary care hospitals. You will remain clinically active on the floor in our anchor ER hospital, working alongside the doctors you lead.

You will mentor Lead Doctors and Medical Directors, drive medical quality and safety, and shape regional growth and integration of new practices. A visible leader on the ground is essential.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree required.
• Emergency, urgent care, surgery, and/or Internal Medicine experience.
• Track record leading collaborative teams and growing hospitals.
• Mentorship and development of people preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Lead Doctors and Medical Directors to build the next layer of veterinary leadership.
• Drive medical excellence—clinical quality, safety, and standards across the region.
• Lead regional growth strategy, hospital performance, and integration of new practices.
• Maintain a visible, boots-on-the-ground presence across hospitals.

You'll lead medicine, operations and culture across our growing Mass-RI network of emergency and primary care hospitals and you'll still be on the floor in our anchor ER hospital, working alongside the doctors you lead.
