Job summary

COVE Animal Health is seeking a Group President to lead the Massachusetts & Rhode Island network of emergency and primary care hospitals, mentoring physicians, shaping clinical standards, and guiding regional growth while staying engaged on the hospital floor.

You will collaborate with Operations, build teams, pursue de novos and acquisitions, and receive performance-based equity, comprehensive benefits, relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD required.
• Emergency, urgent care, surgery, and/or Internal Medicine experience.
• Track record leading collaborative teams and growing hospitals.
• Strong appetite for mentorship and developing people.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Lead Doctors and Medical Directors to build the next layer of veterinary leadership.
• Drive medical excellence across hospitals with clinical quality and safety standards.
• Lead regional growth strategy, hospital performance, and integration of new practices.
• Maintain a visible boots-on-the-ground presence with teams across the region.
