Job summary

Piper Glen Animal Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a Lead Customer Service Representative to guide the front desk, uphold service standards, and elevate client experiences. You will partner with hospital leadership to ensure smooth operations and a positive, collaborative culture.

As a working leader, you’ll mentor CSRs, handle escalations, oversee scheduling and records, and promote accuracy across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills, including scheduling systems and POS.
• Excellent communication, empathetic and professional.
• Lead, senior or mentoring experience preferred.
• Experience in veterinary, healthcare, or multi-location service environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example for service excellence and front desk duties.
• Mentor CSR team with coaching and growth plans.
• Serve as first escalation point for client concerns.
• Foster cross-department communication with techs, vets, leadership.
• Support daily front desk coverage and accurate records.
• Uphold hospital values and calm conduct in high-volume times.
