Job summary

Lovet Pet Health Care is seeking a DVM Field Trainer to travel between Lovet hospitals, providing hands-on coaching in medicine and surgery. You will mentor associate veterinarians, strengthen clinical decision-making, and elevate surgical skills across our Arizona, IL, and MI locations.

The role requires 5+ years of clinical experience, a strong background in soft tissue surgery, and a passion for teaching. This is a full-time, field-based position with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona veterinary license in good standing; willing to be licensed in IL and MI and other markets as we expand.
• Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience in general practice.
• Strong proficiency in soft tissue surgery dentistry.
• Demonstrated interest in teaching, mentoring, and coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on coaching in medicine and surgery to associates across hospitals.
• Travel regularly between assigned locations to provide on-site coaching and case support.
• Partner with Learning & Development to track progress and identify skill gaps; support measurable improvement.
