Job summary

Lovet Pet Health Care in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians with surgeries and medical procedures in a growing hospital. You will provide compassionate care to pets and excellent client service.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, strong communication, and a preferred certification. Benefits include health plans, PTO, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have veterinary assistant/technician qualifications or equivalent.
• Preference for certified veterinary technician credentials.
• Associate degree in veterinary assisting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, under supervision.
• Provide high-quality care to all pets and excellent client service.
• Deliver WOW customer service to clients and their pets.
• Assist in anesthesia care and post-operative monitoring.
• Communicate care plans to clients and obtain consent.
• Manage medical records in practice software.
• Dispense medication, perform x-rays, blood draws, catheters, and vaccines.
• Set up, break down, and clean medical equipment; assist with hospital cleaning.
