We’re seeking a skilled, people‑first veterinarian to join our Learning & Development team as a DVM Field Trainer. In this field‑based role, you’ll travel between hospitals to provide hands‑on coaching in medicine and surgery, offering real‑time case support that helps associate veterinarians build confidence, efficiency, and clinical excellence. Through mentorship and collaboration, you’ll strengthen surgical capability, advance medical decision‑making, and reinforce the Lovet standard of care across our hospitals.
Provide hands‑on coaching in soft tissue surgery, including spays, neuters, and mass removals, various abdominal procedures, dentistry/extractions, with a focus on improving efficiency, technique, and confidence.
Guide associates through general practice case workups, diagnostics, and internal medicine management, helping to strengthen clinical reasoning and outcomes.
Partner with Learning & Development to track progress, identify skill gaps, and support measurable improvement in clinical and surgical competencies.
This is a full‑time, field‑based role supporting multiple hospitals. You’ll travel to provide on‑site coaching and case support, partnering with hospital leadership and the L&D team to focus training where it’s needed most.
