Join to apply for the Veterinary Extern - General Practice role at NVA General Practice.

All Pets Medicine, Surgery & Rehabilitation Clinic offers a $2,500 travel stipend for clinical year externships!

Students will work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarians to gain experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creating treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, observing or assisting in surgical procedures, and medical management of patients. Additionally, externs will have opportunities to enhance their communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.

Externship durations typically range from two to eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules. All veterinary students, regardless of class year, are encouraged to participate.

Students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend. The stipend at All Pets Medicine, Surgery & Rehabilitation Clinic is $2,500. For more details, see the stipend amounts HERE and the stipend program HERE.
