Abqpetcarehospital is offering an externship program for veterinary students in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This program provides a unique opportunity to understand day-to-day operations and gain valuable hands-on clinical experience, lasting from two to eight weeks.
Participants will be responsible for various tasks including patient histories, physical examinations, treatment plans, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. A travel/living expense stipend is available for eligible students, with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience. Although every NVA hospital is unique, they all share a commitment to excellent medicine and exceptional service to animals and their owners.
All veterinary students (regardless of class year) are encouraged to participate in NVA externships. Most externship experiences range from two to eight weeks depending on student and hospital schedules.
Veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend. Detailed stipend amounts and program information are available on the NVA careers site.
