National Veterinary Associates is offering an externship for 3rd and 4th year veterinary students to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience in a veterinary practice. Students will participate in various tasks such as gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, and creating treatment plans.
The externships generally last from two to eight weeks, depending on availability, and may include a travel/living expense stipend as well as benefits like medical, dental, and vision coverage.
An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day‑to‑day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience.
Designed for 3rd & 4th year veterinary students. Most externships range from two to eight weeks depending on student and hospital schedules. Housing may be available in some instances.
Veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
