Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) seeks an experienced Medical Director to lead VEG hospitals in Washington state. You will guide emergency teams to maintain the highest medical standards, from triage through discharge, aligning with VEG’s core values and patient-first care.

You will mentor physicians and staff, build strong teams, and drive safety and quality initiatives while collaborating with market leadership on growth and recruitment.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required (DVM/VMD or international equivalent).
• 5+ years of traditional 24/7 ER experience and critical case management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead VEG hospitals to medical excellence the VEG Way.
• Guide doctors and technicians to deliver clinically excellent care.
• Lead recruitment, scheduling, and performance development across hospitals.
