Ethos Veterinary Health’s Long Island Veterinary Specialists unit in Plainview, NY, seeks a Dispensary Associate to support accurate preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in a fast-paced animal hospital.

The role requires organized, detail-oriented teamwork with veterinarians, offering starting pay at $18/hour and full-time schedule (4 weekdays plus Sundays) with comprehensive benefits and training. Join a diverse team focused on exemplary patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support the accurate preparation, calculation, and dispensing of medications as directed by LIVS veterinarians.
• Maintain accurate medication dispensing records.
• Monitor medication and supply inventory and report discrepancies.
• Support inventory control and regulatory compliance for controlled substances.
• Receive, organize, and stock medications and hospital supplies.
• Manage medication and supply inventory within the Cubex system.
• Assist hospital team with obtaining medications and supplies.
• Maintain an organized, efficient dispensary in a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritize requests and responsibilities to support patient care.
