Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS) in Plainview, NY is seeking a Dispensary Associate to support accurate preparation, calculation, and dispensing of medications and supplies under LIVS veterinarians, with responsibilities for dispensing records and Cubex inventory management.

This full-time role offers hands-on training, CE opportunities, license reimbursements, and a comprehensive benefits package. The schedule is 4 weekdays plus every Sunday, with an initial pay starting at $18/hour.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory control and regulatory compliance for controlled substances.
• Receive, organize, and stock medications and hospital supplies.
• Manage inventory within the Cubex system.
• Assist hospital team with obtaining medications and supplies.
• Help maintain an organized, efficient dispensary.
• Prioritize requests and responsibilities in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Support patient care services through reliable medication and supply management.

Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS) is seeking a Dispensary Associate to join our team in Plainview, NY. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced animal hospital while supporting the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.

• Receive, organize, and stock medications and hospital supplies
• Manage medication and supply inventory within the Cubex® system
• Assist hospital team members with obtaining medications and other necessary supplies
• Help maintain an organized, accurate, and efficient dispensary
• Prioritize requests and responsibilities in a fast-paced animal hospital environment
• Support efficient patient care services throughout the hospital through attention to detail and reliable medication and supply management
