Job summary

Aequor is seeking a Veterinary Laboratory Technician in Mukilteo, WA for a contract through April 2027 with the possibility to extend. The role supports veterinary diagnostic studies and evaluation of point-of-care technologies.

You will perform lab testing on biochemistry, hematology, and immunoassay analyzers, manage samples and data, maintain documentation, and collaborate with scientific teams to ensure study quality.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• Experience handling laboratory samples and equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic instruments such as biochemistry, hematology and immunoassay analyzers.
• Knowledge or experience within veterinary diagnostics would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct point-of-care and reference instrument testing.
• Support data collection for clinical study activities including validation studies and product evaluation.
• Assist with coordination and management of study supplies, samples, and equipment.
• Maintain sterile laboratory conditions where required.
• Work with reference lab colleagues to align studies with workflows and report progress.
• Provide regular updates to Medical Affairs regarding study progress.
