Qualifikationen

• Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service receptionist role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable handling a multi-line phone system in a high-volume setting.
• Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (EzyVet) is a plus.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally sensitive situations.
• Genuine love for animals and dedication to supporting pet health and wellness.
• Some evening and Saturday hours are a must for all staff.

Aufgaben

• Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive front desk experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing a busy veterinary calendar, including doctor appointments, technician appointments, surgical schedule and small boarding kennel.
• Answer multi-line phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff.
• Process client payments, invoices, and maintain accurate billing records and discuss estimate treatment options and Care Credit.
• Maintain and update patient medical records using veterinary practice management software (EzyVet).
• Provide general information regarding Animal Care Centers policies, services and pricing to our clients.
• Support a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area and front desk environment, exam rooms and beyond.
• Willing to jump in whenever needed!!
