Job summary

Mission Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (MVES) in Mission, KS seeks a second residency-trained or board-certified critical care specialist to join our dedicated team. We collaborate across ECC, internal medicine, and surgery to provide seamless case management and the highest standard of care for every patient.

You will mentor interns and ER doctors, influence the development of the Critical Care unit, and contribute to a culture that values education, teamwork, and compassionate medicine.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary critical care.
• Demonstrated collaboration across departments (ECC, internal medicine, surgery).
• Excellent communication with interns, clinicians, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee interns and ER doctors in daily ICU rounds and case management.
• Lead and contribute to a high-level critical care service and patient outcomes.
• Foster collaboration between ECC, internal medicine, and surgery for seamless care.
