Job summary

VERC is a 24-hour veterinary emergency and specialty hospital in Hawaii. We seek a residency-trained or board-certified Criticalist to join our growing team and oversee ICU care and hospital patients.

The successful candidate will manage hospitalized and incoming emergency cases, develop ICU protocols, train technicians, and collaborate with other departments and referring veterinarians. Qualifications

• Residency trained or board-certified Criticalist required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative emergency/critical care team.
• Experience managing ICU and hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage hospitalized patients and incoming emergency cases.
• Develop and oversee ICU protocols and standards of care.
• Provide mentorship and training to technicians and staff.
• Collaborate with other departments and referring veterinarians.
