Job Description
Our 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital is seeking an additional Criticalist to join our team. Avets has a long-standing focus on emergency, trauma, and critical care, and is a center of medical research. Our Criticalists lead the growth and development of our emergency and critical care departments and are supported by board-certified specialists in Avian & Exotics, Anesthesia & Pain Management, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, and Surgery. Our veterinary team fosters a collaborative culture, supporting one another and sharing expertise freely.
We are committed to education, supporting our specialty and rotating internship programs, which include protected time for didactic rounds and digital resources connecting our team to Ethos specialists. Avets has a strong history of training ECC residents, which we plan to reestablish within the next year. Our VTS(ECC) training coordinators oversee a comprehensive program to equip support staff with the skills needed to provide excellent patient care.
