This position focuses on the growth of emergency and critical care departments, requiring strong leadership and a commitment to medical excellence. Our 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital is seeking an additional Criticalist to join our team. Avets focuses on emergency, trauma, and critical care, and is a center of medical research. Our Criticalists lead the growth and development of our emergency and critical care departments, supported by board-certified specialists in Avian & Exotics, Anesthesia & Pain Management, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, and Surgery. Our team fosters a collaborative culture, sharing expertise to support one another.
We emphasize education through hospital-wide support of our specialty and rotating internship programs, which include protected time for didactic rounds and digital resources connecting our team to Ethos specialists. Avets has a strong history of training ECC residents, which we plan to re-establish soon. Our VTS(ECC) training coordinators oversee a comprehensive program to equip support staff with the necessary skills for excellent patient care.
