Thrive Pet Healthcare Mansfield seeks a hands-on Clinical Staff Manager to lead the medical support team, coach staff, and enhance hospital workflow while maintaining high-quality patient care. The role partners with the Hospital Administrator and doctors to schedule, train, and develop clinicians in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in veterinary medicine with supervisory experience, RVT/LVT/CVT credentials preferred, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary medicine experience preferred, with leadership exposure.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in veterinary settings.
• Credentialed veterinary technician designation preferred (RVT/LVT/CVT).
• Strong clinical workflow and patient-care support skills.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop veterinary technicians, assistants, and clinical staff.
• Oversee onboarding, training, skills assessments, and development plans.
• Manage schedules, PTO requests, timekeeping, and shift coverage.
• Collaborate with Hospital Administrator to optimize workflow and patient care.
• Assist on the hospital floor to support patient care and operations.
• Participate in interviews, hiring, and performance management.
