Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a hands-on, people-focused Clinical Staff Manager to lead, coach, and support the medical support team within the hospital. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinary technician or clinical leader who is passionate about developing team members, improving hospital workflow, supporting high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
The Clinical Staff Manager partners closely with the Hospital Administrator, Medical Director, doctors, and leadership team to ensure the technician and assistant teams are well-trained, appropriately scheduled, supported in their development, and aligned with hospital goals and Thrive’s Core Values. A full-time position would require working between 30-40 hours a week, which includes a combination of day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
This is a full-time leadership role that requires a balance of hands-on floor support and administrative responsibilities. Flexibility is required to support hospital needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, call-outs, and urgent coverage situations as needed. The role may require up to 10% travel.
The work environment includes both office and clinical hospital settings. Team members may be exposed to moderate noise, animal waste, odors, cleaning agents, and animal-related risks such as bites, scratches, or contagious diseases. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, communicate clearly, use office and hospital equipment, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists Mansfield is staffed with emergency veterinarians and technicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays. All emergency clinicians are well-versed in emergency procedures and surgery. We can perform emergency procedures and surgeries at any time of the day or night.
We also provide medical oncology and radiation oncology, providing comprehensive cancer care under one roof.
