Job summary

Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) seeks an experienced Veterinary Operations Manager to lead a high-volume North Texas clinic, driving daily operations, people leadership, and financial results in a mission-driven setting.

The Clinic Manager will balance strategic planning with hands-on oversight, ensuring safe, efficient patient flow, outstanding client service, and adherence to TCAP standards and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading teams, managing day-to-day operations and driving performance under shifting priorities.
• Experience in veterinary medicine, healthcare, high-volume service operations, or related customer-facing fields preferred.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred but not required with strong operational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and accountability for team performance and TCAP standards.
• Oversee daily clinic operations, patient/client flow, staffing and resource allocation.
• Drive clinic financial and operational performance, including budgets and cost objectives.
• Deliver exceptional client and patient experiences with professional communication.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, equipment, inventory and readiness for daily patient volume.
• Represent TCAP and collaborate with other clinic managers; travel to locations as needed.
