Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Veterinary Clinic Assistant I for VIP Petcare operations in local clinics. You will assist veterinarians by preparing supplies, restraining pets safely, and delivering friendly customer service to pet parents.

Responsibilities include processing payments, labeling medications, assisting with vaccines, and maintaining a clean work environment while upholding safety and brand standards. A HS diploma and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and VIP Petcare MVR check.
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect payment, dispense and label medications, and review discharge paperwork.
• Safely restrain pets for wellness procedures including vaccines and nail trims.
• Prepare blood and fecal samples for lab testing.
• Drive company vans to clinics as needed.
• Assist pet parents by answering questions and guiding them through the clinic process.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and manage inventory for vaccines and products.
• Support inventory accuracy and expiration management.
• Promote safety and embody company values in client interactions.
